This set in a space theme is called "Quasars" and made ca. 1995 by Grigory Pashkov from Minsk in Belarus. Each piece has the makers logo as shown. Long I didn't know this, till I found out with google that the set once was presented on Grigory's site (exclusivechess.by) and had been displayed in an 2016-2017 exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Minsk.

Grigory Pashkov told me that, in total, he had made 6 sets in ca. 1995. He named them the "Quasars" set. Some sets have a different colour distribution (for instance white pieces partly blue), those were sold with a glass board and a small batch was made with full white and blue pieces, which were sold without a board. The shown set came from that batch. The sets are made of porcelain with fluid gold and silver, especially for porcelain.
