“George Washington” (3)

George Washington owned a set like the 1st one here. The other sets are similar, although the 3rd does not have typical rooks. George Washington sets have the following characteristics: urn shapes in stems/finials, small mitres on Bishops, high arched Knights and Rooks tapered in one line and with brickwork. High arched Knights with ears pointing backwards are typically 18th century.
